Crispy Coated Sesame Prawns
Plenty of bang for your buck here. Can apply the same coating principle and freestyle the coating mix.
Ingredients
- 1kg Uncooked Large King Prawns
- 1/4 Cup Plain Flour
- 2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
- 2/3 Cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1/2 Cup Sesame Seeds
- Oil to pan fry or a Deepfryer
Directions
- Peel and devein the prawns, leaving just the tail on
- Flatten slightly
- Combine breadcrumbs and sesame seeds on a flat plate
- Roll prawns in flour
- Dip the prawns in the beaten egg wash then coat with the crumb mix
- Heat the oil to medium-high heat
- Carefully lower the prawns into the oil, cook until golden brown
- Serve with your selection of sauces
