Crispy Somosas
Forget party pies these are great finger food and can be as gourmet as you like.
Ingredients
- 1 Pkt Filo Pastry
- 200g Pork mince
- 100g Veal mince
- 1 medium carrot, finely grated
- 2 Cloves of garlic
- 1/2 Cup frozen Peas
- 2 Teaspoons Tamarind sauce
- 2 Teaspoons curry powder
Directions
- Cut each a pastry sheet into four squares
- Cut them into triangles
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix vigourously
- Portion half of each triangle with mix
- Paint the edge with water and fold and seal them, pressing with a fork end if you wish
- Heat oil to medium-high heat and carefully lower each Samosa in
- 3-4 mins later remove, drain on paper towel
- Serve with your choice of sauce

- Fine grated cheese
