Forget party pies these are great finger food and can be as gourmet as you like.


  • 1 Pkt Filo Pastry
  • 200g Pork mince
  • 100g Veal mince
  • 1 medium carrot, finely grated
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 Cup frozen Peas
  • 2 Teaspoons Tamarind sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons curry powder


  1. Cut each a pastry sheet into four squares
  2. Cut them into triangles
  3. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix vigourously
  4. Portion half of each triangle with mix
  5. Paint the edge with water and fold and seal them, pressing with a fork end if you wish
  6. Heat oil to medium-high heat and carefully lower each Samosa in
  7. 3-4 mins later remove, drain on paper towel
  8. Serve with your choice of sauce

  • Fine grated cheese
  • Shoots
