I am ordering a larger screen so I can view a picture of this monster !!!


  • 3 Large round washed potatoes
  • 1 Tub of Sour Cream
  • 1 Bunch shallot, finely chopped
  • 250g Herb & Garlic Butter (Homemade or bought)
  • 250g gratted cheese
  • 300g Diced bacon
  • 500g Romano Sauce
  • 200g Fried red onion ( Available near the asian spices usually )


There are two ways of preparing the potato.

  • Paint with olive oil using a brush and then roast on a tray in a pre-heated oven for 60mins @ 180c. Checking and turning if needed.
  • I actually prefer the second way…..its quicker and still very good. Pierce the skin of the potato using a fork. Go over the entire body sticking it in as deep as you can, the more holes the better the outcome. Microwave for 12 mins. Instantly remove from microwave and wrap in foil. Leave there for a further 8-10mins then carefully unwrap. Dont cheat on the time, you will only dud yourself.

Then top in this order

  1. Herb and Garlic butter
  2. Cheese
  3. Romano Sauce
  4. Bacon
  5. Sour Cream
  6. Shallot
  7. Fried onion
