This is fresh and bursting with taste. The contrast between tastes is superb.

Ingredients

  • 750g Diced Lamb
  • 3/4 Cup of Oil
  • 1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon chicken stock powder
  • 1 Teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 3 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 tbsp of fresh chopped oregano
  • 2 Tbsp of Tahini Paste
  • 1/2 Cup of plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Directions

  1. Combine 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of chicken stock powder, 2 cloves crushed garlic, and 1 Tbsp of fresh oregano into a large bowl
  2. Mix in diced lamb, coat generously
  3. Refrigerate overnight
  4. Skewer the diced lamb onto the kebabs
  5. Combine 2 tbsp tahini paste, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1 clove crushed garlic and 2 tbsp water and mix vigourously
  6. Fry your lamb in a pan with a little oil
  7. Pat dry with some toweling and serve with the yogurt sauce
