Marinated Lamb Kebabs with Yogurt Sauce
This is fresh and bursting with taste. The contrast between tastes is superb.
Ingredients
- 750g Diced Lamb
- 3/4 Cup of Oil
- 1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon chicken stock powder
- 1 Teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- 1 tbsp of fresh chopped oregano
- 2 Tbsp of Tahini Paste
- 1/2 Cup of plain yogurt
- 2 Tbsp Water
Directions
- Combine 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of chicken stock powder, 2 cloves crushed garlic, and 1 Tbsp of fresh oregano into a large bowl
- Mix in diced lamb, coat generously
- Refrigerate overnight
- Skewer the diced lamb onto the kebabs
- Combine 2 tbsp tahini paste, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1 clove crushed garlic and 2 tbsp water and mix vigourously
- Fry your lamb in a pan with a little oil
- Pat dry with some toweling and serve with the yogurt sauce
