This is the most desireable swimming spot in the direct Townsville region. 50mins away and well worth the drive. It has sensational rainforest surrounds and wonderful views as you climb the range.

The 110% best feature is that is fed by the Paluma Dam and hence runs 365days a year no matter what. Always running and always crystal clean.

The actual rock despression that is shown in the pics is a testament to the forces of nature. It must be approx 14m deep and is superb to view with a shimmer of sunlight passing through it. The pics do not do it justice at all.

Enjoy. Its one of my all time favourites to do with the family. Picnics are on an altogether when held here.

  1. Get there early as it is very popular
  2. Take some Repelant as I was there this week and there were some killer march flies.
