The Strand has every attribute you could ask for. The fishing is just another one of its strong points. The only time I have encountered a problem is when there is too much wind or too much run in the tides.

  • Plenty of BIG fish getting caught off there all the time
  • Schools of bait fish running around the pilons
  • Rock species like cod hanging around near the rock wall
  • Sand flat species and predators hanging around out the front
  • Full fish filleting stations
